VUELTA SAN JUAN : MARCO BENFATTO REGALA IL PRIMO PODIO ALLA BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ

Seconda tappa della stagione ed è subito podio per la Bardiani CSF Faizanè, in una Vuelta San Juan con avversari di buon livello. Volata regolata infatti da Fernando Gaviria, terzo posto per Marco Benfatto, bravo a inserirsi una top5 di alto livello.

Marco Benfatto porta la prima soddisfazione stagionale alla Bardiani CSF Faizanè conquistando il primo podio di stagione, nel tentativo di finalizzare l’ottimo lavoro svolto dai suoi compagni. L’arrivo della prima tappa era stato condizionato da una caduta di gruppo causata da un incauto spettatore, Marco Benfatto ne era rimasto coinvolto, senza particolari conseguenze ma rimanendo tagliato fuori dai giochi. La seconda tappa ha visto una storia diversa, con tutti gli attesi protagonisti di giornata a sfidarsi sul rettilineo finale.

Buon lavoro di squadra svolto da tutto il team che nei km finali hanno portato Marco Benfatto sulle ruote dei migliori e in buona posizione. Abile quindi il velocista del team a trovare il giusto varco e raggiungere il primo podio della nuova stagione per il team, in attesa del primo successo stagionale.

Queste le parole di Marco Benfatto: “Ieri sono caduto e quindi non ho potuto sprintare, oggi i miei compagni mi hanno aiutato a star fuori dalle cadute e mi sono buttato nella mischia e raccolto un buon terzo posto che mi dà sopratutto fiducia per le prossime volate. È bello sentire la fiducia della squadra e dei compagni perché così corro anche e soprattutto per tutti loro, per provare a ripagarli con una vittoria.”
