DOPPIO PODIO PER L’ANDRONI GIOCATTOLI SIDERMEC AL TACHIRA

Doppio podio ieri alla Vuelta al Tachira per l’Androni Giocattoli Sidermec che continua ad essere protagonista nella corsa a tappe sudamericana.

Nella quinta tappa da La Predera a Pregonero (147,5 chilometri) sono arrivati il secondo e terzo posto di Jhonatan Restrepo e Santiago Umba. I due colombiani hanno chiuso alle spalle del venezuelano Roniel Campos (leader della corsa) in una frazione molto dura con oltre tremila metri di dislivello. Nel finale, poi, ci si è messa anche la sfortuna con la foratura di Restrepo.

A completare il buon risultato di giornata per l’Androni Giocattoli Sidermec anche i 10° posto di Munoz.

In classifica generale Umba, che guida sempre la graduatoria dei giovani, è salito al quarto posto.

Oggi Santo Domingo-Casa del Padre (129,3 chilometri) e nuovo arrivo in salita.

PRESS RELEASE – DOUBLE PODIUM FOR ANDRONI GIOCATTOLI SIDERMEC AT THE TACHIRA

Double podium yesterday at the Vuelta al Tachira for Androni Giocattoli Sidermec. The team continues to be protagonist in the South American stage race.

In the fifth stage from La Predera to Pregonero (147.5 kilometers) the second and third places of Jhonatan Restrepo and Santiago Umba arrived. The two colombians finished behind the venezuelan Roniel Campos (leader of the race) in a very tough stage with over three thousand meters in altitude. In the end, then, there was also bad luck with Restrepo’s puncture.

To complete the good result of the day for Androni Giocattoli Sidermec also the 10th place of Munoz.

In the general classification Umba (he always leads the ranking of young people) has risen to fourth place.
